RESIDENTIAL BUNGALOW, KUALA LUMPUR

The client has this amazing block of land directly connected to the lake in a gated community called country heights in Kuala Lumpur. They want to create a family house that allows 3 generation of family to live harmoniously together.

We proposed to have separate pavilions across the land connected by a open verandah. This allow different activity to take place independently whilst maintaining connections with each other. The design direclty response to local climate by using extensive shading throughout the house , and creating courtyards as protected garden.

The end result is every family member has the freedom to live and also share within this "residential compound".
