INTERIORS, NORTH MELBOURNE

The client likes to have a calm living environment where he calls it " an oasis in the city". He also has got an array of artworks to be displayed.

We think the most important thing about the interior is the use of light, both daylight and artificial light. We  incorporated multiple skylights, different types of artificial lights to highlight the beauty of the stone finish and timber flooring the client wanted.

The end result is an expansive space interconnecting different rooms of the house, at the same time allowing everyday life activities to unfold in separation, a soft privacy as we describe it.
