Francis Wai is passionate for design and architecture since early age. His approach to design is influenced by both his ever appreciation of aesthetics grounded by practical problem solving attitude.
Having pursued studies both in Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne since childhood, he has build up understanding of different culture and also a multi-lingual ability. He believes diversity of culture is important for the society.
He graduated in Melbourne University with Dean Honours List in 2001 and Bachelor of Architecture with Honors in 2005. He has then work with numerous award-winning practice both locally and internally, including Hayball Architecture, Workshop Architecture in Melbourne and DP Architects in Kuala Lumpur.
In 2009, Francis Wai became a registered architect and not long after, decided to start up his own practice. He is currently pursuing a research degree specialising in integrated outdoor in design of living spaces from the health and well-being perspectives.
