The client has this fantastic corner property at Seddon. They really want to preserve the existing victorian period home at the front and like to increase some livable space at the rear.

We thought there are immense potential for a design where the property can be used as single or two dwellings if needed.We then designed north facing living area in the centre as a connector/separator and 3 bedroom private wing at the south side with a direct driveway access. The location of the buildings are setout to allow it to be subdivided into two dwellings for sale in the future. The client was delighted as the design has give them extra financial value on top of amenity of space.

The angle L shape of living dining area gives the client a wider visual perspective into the courtyard. It also allows the kitchen, dining, living area to be connected and yet separated.
